Searching for an Identity

Why am I writing this? Probably because everyone else is writing something else. As of now, this page exists simply so I can post a comment at a friend's site.

I had hoped this would be a quick process, but alas I had to register and create a new blog, and in the process find a new way to identify myself. I spent over a half hour trying to find the most clever blog title, but all of my ideas were already taken. I finally decided purely speculative would warn a hypothetical visitor to read my musings with a critical eye, and not assign much authority to my posts.

As of now, I at least feel I can take this in any direction and postpone defining that new identity.
