Probably because everyone else is writing something else. As of now, this page exists simply so I can post a comment at <a href="http://poorworm.blogspot.com" title="Go to poorworm">a friend's site</a>.</p>
<p>I had hoped this would be a quick process, but alas I had to register and create a new blog, and in the process find a new way to identify myself. I spent over a half hour trying to find the most clever blog title, but all of my ideas were already taken. I finally decided <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=speculative" title="What is the meaning of this?">purely speculative</a> would warn a hypothetical visitor to read my musings with a critical eye, and not assign much authority to my posts.</p>
